Promos come in styles and sizes, from scrappy and quick edit-only jobs to fully produced, cast, and shot campaigns.
When tasked with creating a campaign for LIFE Leadership College (with the focus on individual challenge and growth in every student), we found the perfect example in the McLeod family. All five had either graduated or were currently enrolled in LLC.
So we built the campaign around them, creating individual stories and standalone outputs for each, as well as this hero piece that balanced and featured the whole family. Really proud of the way we managed to share a piece of everyones journey and impact, especially since most wouldn't normally get in front of a camera. What a story!
This one was a speedy edit to answer a last-minute brief for a last-minute audience.
The goal was simple: get the young adults at LIFE excited enough to actually register early for The Gathering.
It became a creative exercise in making the most of what I had, and was built from a photoshoot, a few spontaneous phone clips, and a day's edit time. A fun reminder that creativity often comes from working with constraints, and that not every project needs a big production.
This promo edit was done entirely with existing highlights footage from the previous conference, select stock footage, and some creative graphic treatment. That and the right speaker soundbite.
Its a fun target to hit. Setting expectation, conveying important info, and ultimately showing the heart and theme behind the event.

This was one of several 'Thank You Letter' videos we produced, all from real messages past recipients had sent to LIFE Community's Christmas Box initiative. All to promote donations in the build up to packing and delivery of 45,000 food packages for struggling families.
This one, featuring Gayleenn's family and voice, was really special. Had a blast shooting this, even if we had to set up 'Christmas' in October.
