Interviews seem like they're about asking questions, but they're about creating a space where people can truly share something. Sometimes the best moments are found in conversation.
This conversation with Stan Walker was full of laughs, heart, and a few surprise moments. I really enjoyed bringing this edit together, with interviewers Abe Raffills and Bradden du Jary.

Some conversations can feature three cameras and a studio. Others like this one get one camera, an hour in the wild, and a no-fuss edit to bring it all together. Featuring a fun intro with the talented Abe Raffills and Bradden du Jary.

This interview was a one man shoot, and a flight down to Christchurch, and I had about 15 minutes to fully set lights and cameras. While far from perfect, we managed to set up something that worked really well. It was really elevated by Simon's willingness to be authentic and vulnerable, and an excellent interview by Abe Raffills.
